khana commune (originally founded in Singapore in November 2010) is London's first Bengali-Punjabi supper club, based in the comfort of our home in Whitechapel.
Our cooking is primarily influenced by our mothers' Bangladeshi and Punjabi family recipes, and our family's 30-year connection to Singapore, renowned as the world's food paradise. Our love of London's amazing array of international cuisine continues to make its mark too. We love our curries, but you won't find what we serve on Brick Lane.
Open to all members of the public, khana commune offers authentic dining based in the comfort and intimacy of a chef's home (our home!).
Table bookings can be made for up to 10 people at a time. Dinners are held at 7.30 pm on specified dates. Dinners cost £30 a head for a 5-8 course set menu including drinks. We post the upcoming menu on this blog a few days before each dinner.
If none of the dates we have announced suit you, and you would like to suggest an alternative date, please get in touch and we can look into it.
You can also join the Khana Commune London mailing list to receive alerts to news, last minute spaces (cancellations) and new dates as soon as they are released. Fill up this form and press submit:
