After a long break and a few private khana commune dinner bookings, which kept us busy, we are back with our next public dinner date. And boy, are we excited!
On Sunday 21st October at 1.30 pm, we’re going to cook up a storm for you. All proceeds from this meal go straight to Action Against Hunger’s fabulous campaign.
So book your tickets now, knowing you’re in for a great meal plus helping to end world hunger and poverty.
We have a delicious menu lined up, including a rare dish that seems to be missing from the London food scene – Senegalese lamb peanut stew. Abdul-Rehman has become quite the expert at making this complex, deeply satisfying dish and we’re confident you’ll absolutely love it.
The menu so far…
aloor chop – potato parcels stuffed with meat
served with homemade coriander and mint chutney
senegalese mafe – a hearty lamb peanut stew
served with steamed rice
nasi lemak with homemade sambal and ikan bilis
whole sea bass, cooked bengali style with kasundi, caramelised onion and tomatoes, served with stir-fried okra
sago gula melaka – tapioca pearls served with coconut cream and date molasses
sweet tamarind juice, filtered water, teas and coffees
